Brian Basco is on vacation in Hawaii with his girlfriend Gina, after the couple fell in love during their adventures in Runaway: A Road Adventure, the first game in this two-part adventure. Gina is excited about taking a flying boat trip to see the beautiful Tiki Falls on Mala Island, and Brian reticently agrees to the sightseeing excursion. Buxom Gina and now somewhat hip Brian hop on board a rickety old PBY Catalina run by Platypus Tours, but things take a turn for the worse, setting the couple on a whole new set of exotic adventures which are not actually finished during the game itself and are yet to be resolved in the third installment in the series.Brian Basco, the only player-controlled character, is a doctoral candidate in Physics at Berkeley. Brian broke out of his nerdy shell after going through so many adventures and meeting so many interesting characters in Runaway: A Road Adventure. He will stop at nothing to save the woman he never thought he would have, Gina.
